
Daniela Gimenez-Jimenez is Junior Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business and Economics at TU Dortmund University, Germany. Before joining TU Dortmund, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair for Corporate Sustainability at the TUM School of Management.

- On August 21, Plug and Play in Sunnyvale for the Selection Day event, conducted several interviews and a focus group while in San Francisco.
- On August 24, Daniela presented at the GAIN conference in the workshop “Maximizing Impact: Entrepreneurship and Academia Career Pathways in Innovation Ecosystems.”
- From September 03 to 05, Daniela is visiting Sacramento State University, teaching in Prof. Fernanda Maciel’s Business Analytics class, and presenting at the Brownbag Seminar of the Faculty of Business and Economics with Prof. Darcy Fudge. The presentation title is “Who Wrote the Rules of the Game? The Impact of Country-Level Institutions on the Quality of Female and Male Entrepreneurial Activity.”
- On September 16, Daniela will attend the opening event of Plug and Play at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.
- On September 17, Daniela will be a guest lecturer at Bill Hunter’s seminar “Foundations of Sustainable Development” at Lehigh University.
- On September 26, Daniela presented at the Management Club at Lehigh University on “Gender Integration in Management: Analyzing the Impact of Gender Diversity in Managerial Roles.”
- On October 8, Daniela will host “Entrepreneurial Well-Being” at Lehigh University.
- On October 10, Daniela will be part of the event “Contextualizing Well-Being through Entrepreneurship and Higher Education” at NYU, in collaboration with the Intersectionality Lab.
- On October 16, Daniela will be at Montclair State University.
Entrepreneurial Well-Being at Lehigh University Event
This event aims to shed light on the often-overlooked challenges entrepreneurs face in the fast-paced startup landscape. By addressing entrepreneurial well-being, the insights and interventions developed can benefit a wide array of fields beyond entrepreneurship and business, fostering a holistic approach to mental health and productivity. The event encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing among diverse academic and professional communities, ultimately promoting a comprehensive approach to well-being in the modern workforce.
